Jan 15, 2016 · Put Disc 1 into your DVD-ROM drive and open the X‑Plane 10 folder (located by default on the Desktop) and double click on ‘X-Plane.exe’ in Windows, or ‘X-Plane.app’ on a Mac. You can read more about launching X‑Plane for the first time here .
Launch X-Plane 11 and start a flight using the aircraft. An activation window will appear, prompting you to enter your serial number. Paste the serial number found above and click the Activate button. After a short pause, a message will appear informing you that the product has successfully activated. The aircraft is now ready to fly.
If we did find an order with digital download keys, the email will list all applicable product keys, including the X‑Plane version (s) they apply to. You can copy & paste your product key into X‑Plane to activate it. If you don’t see an email within a few minutes, make sure it didn’t get trapped in your spam filter.
Click that line of text to display the Flight Plan dialog box (shown in the image to the right). You must enter your departure and arrival points, in the same ID format as the points appear in the X-Plane maps, as well as your planned cruising (enroute) altitude. Pressing the File button will register your flight plan with the X-Plane air traffic control.
Use the 'Weapon select up' and 'Weapon select down' keys to select a weapon. Usually there is a knob in the cockpit that points to the selected weapon.
