Nov 15, 2016 · hold 5 to focus, press 5 to tenno. it works for me : /. and the reason is that DE is avoiding adding more more keys since it'll be too complicated. it'd be even worse to controler users. Not really its not to bad for controller users actually, not to bad just tab rb or hold rb now the hotfix has come out.
Aug 10, 2021 · Once that's done you'll have the ability to see all of the Focus nodes. Two per school will note that they're Waybound passives, these are the specific ones you can use in any school. To unbind them you must max each out, which requires a fairly hefty amount of Focus points, as well as one Brilliant Eidolon Shard per passive.
How to get Focus. In order to start gaining focus, players must equip either a Warframe or weapon with a lens. These are used to produce focus which is based off of how much affinity that is gained during a mission where a percentage of the total affinity is generated into focus.
Way-Bounds Unbinding a Way-Bound node requires the node to be upgraded to the last rank, each final rank requiring 1,000,000 Focus points and a Brilliant Eidolon Shard. Each school has two Way-Bound nodes, for a total of 10 Way-Bound nodes available to unlock.

Brilliant Eidolon Shards can be converted into 25,000 Focus in the Orbiter's Transference Room. To do so, players can go to Focus Conversion to the lower right corner of the screen when viewing an unlocked school's ability tree, then selecting how many Shards they want to redeem.
Preparation Phase: Damage an Eidolon Lure and hack it to take control of it. The Lure can then be charged by either letting it absorb a nearby Eidolon Vomvalyst's spectral form, or by picking up the energy orb they drop (indicated by a blue beacon) and passing it onto the Lure.
You can't "connect" the Focus trees at all, so it's possible you misunderstood something or got some incorrect information about how Focus works. What you can do is unbind the Waybound abilities (2 per school) that can then be accessed in any school.
Only Way-Bound talents can be connected. Once fully unlocked, they will become available in other Trees so you can activate them at a Focus Pool cost.
