"Mission Control" permission is required to launch (start) a mission. Select the mission you wish to launch then click the "Launch Mission" button on the bottom-center of the panel. Only one guild mission at a time may be active. Instanced Two types of PvE Guild missions are instanced: Guild Challenges and Guild Puzzles.

Guild missions are weekly challenges for your guild. The currently available missions are listed in the Guild Missions tab of your guild panel. Select the mission you want to run and start it; you'll then have a limited amount of time to complete its objectives.
The cash goes into the guild bank, when you've completed a quest and clicked complete quest in the guild window afterwards, the cash is added to the guild funds at the bottom. You then pay yourself with that money.Oct 19, 2016

Once you have unlocked a category of guild mission, you will need to build it first before you can activate it in a similar way that you need to build a guild banner first before you can activate it.
Guilds that successfully complete the puzzle will receive the appropriate level of favor, being 300, 400, or 500. (And a 10% bonus if the guild has not chosen to specialize.)

Guild Puzzles is the last series of Guild Missions to unlock. They require a minimum of six players with a time limit of 20 minutes for the entire puzzle. These puzzles require strict coordination from participating players with bits of platform jumping in between.
Angvar’s Trove is a new guild puzzle introduced with the May 28 update. It is located in the NW corner of Snowden Drifts near the newly added Angvar’s Trove waypoint. Compared to previous puzzles, this newly added puzzle have a lot more jumping involved. The entire puzzle have a time limit of 30 minutes with timers on specific parts of the puzzle itself (an average run will take approximately 10 minutes). A minimum of six players is require but this puzzle get a lot easier when you have more players.
There are six shrines on either sides of the room and six totems at the end of the room. Also inside the room is a Legendary Drake Guardian that breaths fire, torches and eggs. Your goal is to pick up cooled eggs to lure the legendary Drake to each of the six shrines to lit them up fire while killing the swarm of Drake Guardian Hatchlings. (Picking up regular eggs will only spawn more hatchlings).
Proxemics Lab is located in NW corner of Brisban Wildlands. It has a time limit of 20 minutes and it is recommended to have six players or more to complete it. The lab itself is divided into various phases, some of them have their own timer.
Langmar Estate puzzle is located in SW corner of Plains of Ashford. Like Proxemics Lab, it has a time limit of 20 minutes and it is recommended to have 6-12 players (6 if you can jump under time pressure, 12 if you want make it easier) to complete.
Previously, the only types of guild missions that existed in Guild Wars 2 were the PvE missions: Bounty, Trek, Rush, Challenge, and Puzzle. Since guild missions are an essential part of leveling up your guild halls in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns, we’ve decided to add new guild-mission types for both WvW and Player vs. Player.
Link mentioned instanced missions in his blog post, but I thought I’d go into a little more detail. All guild challenges and puzzles are now instanced missions.
There are a lot of new changes coming to guilds in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns, and the Guild Mission panel is included in these changes. Guilds will begin on day one of the expansion with three guild missions available to them: one easy, one medium, and one hard.
As players advance their guild hall, they’ll be able to purchase new mission-slot upgrades that will give them more options for missions they can complete each week. There are also three dedicated mission slots that are specific to each game mode: one each for PvE, PvP, and WvW.
There are weekly and overall favor caps on missions. This means that each week guilds can only earn so much favor before they hit the maximum amount of favor they can earn for the week, and this won’t always require completing every single mission available to a guild.
What’s the point of doing guild missions if you’ve hit your favor cap? Just like in the existing PvE guild missions, you can still earn personal rewards. However, there have been a couple of changes to how personal rewards work in the new system.
There are now two types of missions: prerolled and random target. Prerolled missions are missions that allow you to see everything that’s required of your guild as soon as the mission is rolled.
A guild leader triggers the rush from the influence tab of the guild panel. The guild is assigned one of 6 different guild rushes. The guild has 6 hours to assemble at the starting post and begin the rush. Once begun, the guild must have members reach the finish line 15 times before the 30 minute time limit ends or they fail the rush.
