Once you’ve broken the ball, all you have to do is hit the Special button (which is the B button on your controller) without tilting the left stick in any direction and you’ll be able to use your character’s final smash move in Super Smash Bros Ultimate.
The Final Smash is actually pretty simple, as it replaces your standard B move. Press B and your character will initiate their Final Smash attack right away. Just be sure to not be moving the control stick in any direction. You want to be standing stationary before hitting B for the Final Smash to trigger properly.Dec 6, 2018

Be sure you aren’t pressing the analog stick in any particular direction though, as that will alter your attack to not be your Final Smash.

In Melee
