(New but intensively into :)) I am doing some basic practices of VOR navigation with the Cessna N172SP in X-Plane 11 and I just can't figure out how to tell the autopilot to follow the NAV 2 instead of the NAV 1 instructions. Jul 08, 2017 · On the 430, just click and hold the cancel button for a couple of seconds. Then click menu and there you are supposed to have the possibility to link the 430 to the cdi (you can toggle between manual and auto). You can then use the garmin430 as the nav2 in combination with the 2nd cdi to prepare for the next vor or anything...
May 15, 2010 · The nav/gps switch is the CDI button ( Middle softkey button on the bottom row ), just cycle through it until it says gps on the main course indicator. You will know you have the right one as it will cycle through nav1 and nav2 first. 05-15-2010, 06:57 AM #3.
