I had the same problem. I had just logged on to Sims 3 University Life, this was connected to World Adventures aswell. My mother (Louise Purple) was a young adult. She was on green, yet to the left of the screen, I couldn't see her face. When she had finished work, I viewed her, but she was invisible.
