Aug 13, 2012 · Across the top of FOMM, you will see the word "Tools". Left click on it and look at the drop down menu. At the botton you will see "Archive Invalidation". If there is a check mark next to the words "Archive Invalidation", than it is active. To disable "Archive Invalidation", left click on the check mark.

Go to the archives tab and move the main file you use for archive invalidation to the top, if its grayed out go into the settings menu, under the workarounds section un-tick the option "Force-enable game files" click ok then close Mod Organizer, when you reopen it the file will be movable.Jul 14, 2015
Archive invalidation simply adds a line to the ini files that allows for texture override, and a . bsa (i think). Unless you validate your game files through steam or overwrite the archive invalidation files you shouldn't ever have to touch it again.Jun 5, 2016
