The raid and Nightfall on Prestige difficulty will be a serious challenge of your skills in Destiny 2, but it’ll also drop better gear to boost your level closer to the current cap.

Oct 24, 2017 · The Prestige mode requires everyone to run, shoot and punch. If you aren’t sure how this fight normally works, we’ve got you covered in our non-Prestige guide to the Gauntlet.
The tougher Prestige version has launched and features a slew of little tweaks that make it far trickier. We've got you covered on this front too, and you'll find both our normal and Prestige guides in the sections below if you're looking to tackle Destiny 2's toughest PVE challenges.
Destiny 2 Prestige Raid offers an extra layer of challenge to the existing Leviathan Raid introduced shortly after the game's launched. ... Unlike the original Destiny, however, the rewards are more cosmetic, and could be a consideration before you put in the effort.Mar 6, 2019
Getting as close to max Power level will help as much as possible since Leviathan's recommended Light level is 300.Mar 6, 2019
Playing all the content, including the original raid (Leviathan) and all the strikes included in the base game can take about 80 or more hours (this includes the grinding required to be high enough level to raid and learning the mechanics).
Does the Leviathan raid scale? You actually scale down instead, so even if you're 500+ it'll still be the same as if you weren't. You might have a slight advantage but not much.
Trials is supposed to be the highest tier of PVP but it is one of the few PVP modes with light level advantages enabled.
It does not matter how high or low your Light is, as long as you've beaten the main campaign then you can enjoy this PvP activity. …
Artifact won't effect the level, so that won't matter. Minimum level to enter trials will be 960 (which may cut down on some cheating).
How To Start This Mission. To unlock the Presage mission, you must first obtain a distress signal from The Arms Dealer strike. You can obtain this from either the strike or Nightfall variant . Load into the mission, defeat the first group of Cabal, then run into the door behind them. Do not progress through the strike.
Beware that this mission is timed, tasking your fireteam with completing the entire mission, start to finish, in 25 minutes. If you exceed 25 minutes, you are immediately sent back to orbit, forcing you to start again.
A Quick Note About Collectibles. Presage has 15 collectibles that Guardians can scan. Unlike past Exotic missions, you must find all of a given set's collectibles before you scan the next batch of collectibles on the following week; they are tied to account progress instead of a weekly rotation.
Named Presage, this mission takes Guardians through an abandoned Cabal ship near the Tangled Shore. Players can complete Presage once a week for a randomly-rolled Dead Man's Tale.
Guardians can find three hidden collectibles during this part. Note that you must find every collectible from one set for the next set's collectibles to be interactable on the weekly reset.
Two collectibles can be found during the maze portion of the Presage mission. One can be found after you destroy the timed fuse after the first pack of Screebs, and the second can be found right as you enter the first room.
It's a rather convoluted way of implementing a catchup mechanic, but that's how it works. The earliest you can open all 12 datapads is May 4, 2021, provided you've completed Presage every week since it released. If you want to know the locations of all 12 datapads, check out our Presage datapad guide .

The catalyst itself requires 800 kills with the weapon, but progress is retroactive (in case you’ve used it a lot these past few days). However, you can also look for hidden caches aboard the Glykon to gain roughly 12% progress per cache.
Likewise, a grenade launcher that rolled with the “Blinding Grenades” perk (i.e., Truthteller) might even be of use against clustered mobs and majors. The fight in the hangar is one part that could take you a while to finish owing to the sheer number of mobs and the abominations that’ll blast you with lightning.
One of the fun new mechanics in the Prestige mode Gauntlet is the “Proven Worthy” debuff. Once a runner has successfully run through the Ga untlet, they will be marked as “Proven Worthy,” meaning that they can no longer run. When it comes time to reenter the Gauntlet, either your puncher or shooter will have to enter instead.
Instead of hanging out by your plate, the entire Fireteam should bunch together in the elevator dome. From the four doorways, everyone should have a shot at the monster closets that spawn the Cabal. Shoot them as you see them and take cover whenever necessary. When the Centurions come out, rush them with all you have.
The first thing your group should do is determine who is the weakest runner in each group. The weak runner should go first, before Calus spawns the pits. The rest of the roles can be dished out before the pull if you have a great memory or called as it happens.
The Gauntlet is Calus ’ ultimate athletic challenge. In the normal version of the fight, you need to run the track until you get enough charges to fill the elevator. The Prestige mode requires everyone to run, shoot and punch.
When the runner calls the triangles, the shooter and puncher will work together as usual.
